Miracles happen everyday, change your perception of what a miracle is and you’ll see them all around you. – Jon Bon Jovi
There’s always a miracle happening around us – the things we have not asked for that we receive, the ones we look forward to without asking and the ones we deliberately ask for.
When daily blessings become a norm, we fail to see them as miracles. We begin to feel entitled to them.
I am supposed to wake up tomorrow. I am supposed to get to work safely. I am supposed to have fast internet.
And then when something around us fall apart, all we see is the bad thing happening to us. No matter how bad it may seem to be, your entire life is not that bad. Check, one thing might be working – your pulse, your family, your support system, your work, your health.
Have you taken notice of what’s working? Have you acknowledged the miracles in your life? Have you recognised the serendipity? Have you shown gratitude?
Showing gratitude for the miracles you receive will realign your focus to cheerful things. I will make you feel better instantly.
If you don’t know where to start from,
- say a prayer of gratitude to God for all the things you took for granted.
- Make a list of all things working in your life.
- make a list of all the amazing people you have in your life.
- spend the rest of the week sending them “thank you” text or emails.
Focus on all the miracles happening in your life now. There’s always good if you look close enough.
Consciously receive life’s miracles. Show gratitude whiles you are at it.
